BIOLOGICAL STUDIES OF Litomastix sp., a parasitoid of Pluaia agnats, in Jiangau

Abstract: It was found in field studies that I itomastix sp. has 5 to 6 generations a year in Jiangsu. In the laboratory of 27°C, it requires 28 daya to complete ita life cycle. It undergoes polyeabryonic reproduction in the forma of both sexual and parthenogeneais. During July to August, the paraaitization rate of P. agnate by Litomaatix ap. could reach to 50-90%, resulting in dramatic decline of the pest population in the field after September.
