The bioassay showed strong virulence of both strains against Locusta migratoria manilensis under laboratory conditions. And the field control tests at the mountain grassland indicated that the two strains afforded over 75% control against the locusts complex including pests of different species and ages. Especially, the B. bassiana GYS-13 reached a control of 81.8% against all the locusts in mountain slopes. These findings indicate potential of the fungal strains B. bassiana GYS-13 and Metarhizium anisopliae QL-107 to be developed as bio-pesticides against the locusts. %U http://www.zgswfz.com.cn/EN/10.16409/j.cnki.2095-039x.2021.03.031
