Influence of the Toxin from Verticillium lecanii on Development and Growth of Pieris rapae and Its Virulence

摘要: 从蜡蚧轮枝孢的发酵液中萃取和纯化出杀虫毒素物质4号组分。通过注射方法,将该真菌毒素(20μg/虫)注射到菜粉蝶5 龄幼虫体内,测定对菜粉蝶的毒力。结果表明,4号组分对菜粉蝶有明显毒力,对其生长发育具有显著抑制作用(60.20%),并可导致蛹发育畸形;对菜粉蝶的累计致死率为83.3%。

Abstract: The insecticidal toxin showing effective virulence to aphids was isolated from the broth of Verticillium lecanii. In this paper, the virulence of this toxic substance against growth of Pieris rapae was conducted by injecting it into 5 instar larvae. The results showed that this toxic substance could effectively inhibit the development of the larvae (60.20%), and make them develop into malformed pupae, even lead death. The ultimate killing rate of this toxic against Pieris rapae was 83.3%.
