Base Editing Technology and Its Application and Prospect in Insects

摘要: 基因编辑是一种能对生物体基因组特定目标基因进行修饰的一种基因工程技术。近年来,基因编辑技术不断突破与发展,以CRISPR编辑系统为基础的单碱基编辑和先导编辑引起了科研人员的关注,随着基因编辑技术的不断成熟,已成功应用到各种动、植物以及其他生物中,为基因治疗和基因功能研究等方面提供了重要的技术支持。本文主要回顾了CRISPR/Cas技术、单碱基编辑技术以及最新开发的先导编辑三项技术的发展历程及应用,并对未来在昆虫中研究的发展和应用作进一步的展望。

Abstract: Gene editing is a kind of genetic engineering technology that can modify specific target genes in the genome of an organism. In recent years, gene editing technology constantly breakthroughs and develop. Based CRISPR system, researchers have focused on the single-base editor and prime editor techniques. With the development of gene editing technology, it has been successfully applied to various kinds of animals and plants and other organisms, and provides important technical support for gene therapy and gene function researches. This paper mainly reviews the development and application of the three technologies, including CRISPR/Cas technology, single-base editing technology and the newly developed prime editing technology, and the future development and application are also prospected.
