对草地螟高致病力昆虫病原线虫的筛选

Screening of Entomopathogenic Nematodes with High Virulence to Loxostege sticticalis

摘要: 为筛选对草地螟Loxostege sticticalis幼虫具有生防潜力的昆虫病原线虫品系,本文以室内生测的方式,测定了6个昆虫病原线虫品系对草地螟3龄幼虫的致病力、不同龄期草地螟幼虫对其敏感性、不同施用剂量及环境温度对线虫致病力的影响。结果表明,线虫Steinernema feltiae SFSN和Steinernema carpocapsae ScALL在6个线虫品系中对草地螟幼虫的致死率较高,均可达到90%以上;通过测定不同龄期草地螟对线虫S.feltiae SFSN和S.carpocapsae ScALL的敏感性,发现草地螟3龄幼虫较4、5龄幼虫均对这两种线虫更敏感;而对线虫S.feltiae SFSN和S.carpocapsae ScALL致病力的单因子测定结果显示,侵染草地螟幼虫最佳剂量分别为60 IJs/虫和80 IJs/虫、最佳温度21℃~25℃。由此可见,昆虫病原线虫S.feltiae SFSN和S.carpocapsae ScALL对防治草地螟具有较好的开发应用潜力。

Abstract: To identify entomopathogenic nematode(EPN) strains with potential biological control of Loxostege sticticalis larvae, the virulence of six nematode strains to third-instar larvae was evaluated under laboratory conditions. In addition, the susceptibility of larvae at different instars, as well as the effects of application dose and environmental temperature on nematode pathogenicity, was investigated. The results showed that the Steinernema feltiae SFSN and S. carpocapsae ScALL strains exhibited the highest virulence, causing larval mortality exceeding 90%. Subsequently, analysis of sensitivity of L. sticticalis larvae to the two nematode strains at different developmental stages showed that the third-instar larvae were more susceptible to infection than the fourth-and fifth-instar larvae. Single-factor experiments further indicated that the optimal application doses were 60 IJs per larva for S. feltiae SFSN and 80 IJs per larva for S. carpocapsae ScALL. The optimal temperature range for infection was 21—25 ℃. These results suggest that S. feltiae SFSN and S. carpocapsae ScALL have considerable potential for the biological control of L. sticticalis.
