蠋蝽对草地贪夜蛾卵的捕食能力评价

Predation Capacity of Developmental Stage Arma chinensis to Spodoptera frugiperda Eggs

摘要: 研究天敌昆虫蠋蝽对入侵性害虫草地贪夜蛾卵的控害潜力,明确蠋蝽对不同日龄卵的捕食偏好,可充分发挥蠋蝽的控害作用。在室内测定了蠋蝽5龄若虫和雌、雄成虫对草地贪夜蛾12~24 h、24~36 h、36~48 h日龄卵的捕食能力。结果表明,蠋蝽对不同日龄草地贪夜蛾卵的捕食量均随猎物密度增加逐渐升高后趋于稳定,均符合Holling Ⅱ功能反应模型。蠋蝽雄成虫的捕食效率最高,其次是5龄若虫,雌成虫最低。蠋蝽5龄若虫、雌成虫、雄成虫分别对24~36 h、36~48 h、12~24 h草地贪夜蛾卵的日均捕食量最高,分别为53.2粒、26.7粒和52.6粒。综合来看,蠋蝽5龄若虫和雄成虫对草地贪夜蛾12~24 h、24~36 h日龄卵的控害效能更强。从生产实践以及提高田间释放效率的角度考虑,以释放蠋蝽5龄若虫为宜。本研究结果为充分利用蠋蝽防控草地贪夜蛾及指导田间释放应用提供了参考依据。

Abstract: The objective of this study is to investigate the potential of Arma chinensis in predation of the eggs of the invasive pest, Spodoptera frugiperda, and to determine the predation preference for egg age. To this end, the female, male adults and the 5th instar nymphs of A. chinensis were confined to S. frugiperda eggs 12—24 h, 24—36 h and 36—48 h old. The results indicated that the predation on S. frugiperda eggs by A. chinensis increased gradually with increasing prey density and then stabilized; the functional response fitted well with the Holling II model. Male adults of A. chinensis had the highest predation efficiency, followed by the 5th instar nymphs, while female adults had the lowest. The daily predation by the 5th instar nymphs, female and male adults of A. chinensis to S. frugiperda eggs 24—36 h, 36—48 h and 12—24 h old was the highest, which was 53.2, 26.7 and 52.6 eggs, respectively. In summary, the 5th instar nymphs and the male adults of A. chinensis are more effective in controlling 12—24 h and 24—36 h S. frugiperda eggs. However, for field release, it is preferable to release the 5th instar nymphs of A. chinensis. The results of this study provide an important reference for the use of A. chinensis in control of S. frugiperda.
