Abstract: A new species of parasitoid,Aceratoneuromyia indica(Silvestri)(Hymenoptera:Eulophidae: Tetrastichinae)for Bactrocera dorsalis(Hendel)was recorded in China. The specimens were kept in Plant Protection Institute,Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Its parasitism efficiency on larvae of B.dorsalis was investigated at 25℃,75%RH and photoperiod of L:D= 16 h:8 h.The result showed that the larval density of B.dorsalis significantly affected the wasp's parasitism efficiency, which could be described by the equation of HollingⅡ,Na = 0.2528N0/(1+0.0090N0).Daily maximum parasitizing numbers of B.dorsalis larvae by A.indica was 28.2,and the time for parasitizing one larva was 0.85 h.The density of A.indica also affected its parasitism, which could be described by the equation of Hassell-Varley,a = 0.0556P-0.2427.
