Abstract: Mature eggs of H. hebetor were collected from parasitized larvae of greater wax moth, Galleria mellonella in the laboratory, and transferred onto the sac-like "artificial larvae" for the in vitro culture. The "artificial larvae" were made of artificial diets composed of oak silkworm pupal hemqlymph, egg yolk and dried milk suspension, in various ratios, and encapsulated with parafilmR. The parasite completed its development from egg to the adult stage on the "artificial larvae" in 12-13 days under 26-28℃ and 75-85% RH. The survival rate of larvae, pupae and adults were 72%, 48% and 24%, respectively.
