南方小花蝽对苜蓿斑蚜不同龄期的捕食作用

Predation Function on Different Stages of Therioaphis trifolii (Monell) by the Orius strigicollis

摘要: 摘要:为明确南方小花蝽Orius similis对苜蓿斑蚜Therioaphis trifolii的捕食作用和生物防治潜能,在室内条件下记录南方小花蝽对苜蓿斑蚜不同龄期的捕食时间和捕食能力,采用HollingⅡ模型和Hassell-Varley模型分别拟合计算南方小花蝽成虫对苜蓿斑蚜不同龄期的捕食功能反应、搜寻效应和相互干扰反应。结果表明:南方小花蝽成虫对苜蓿斑蚜1龄若蚜的取食时间最短,为7.33 min,其瞬时攻击率与处理单头猎物时间的比值即捕食能力为44.9,捕食能力最强,理论日最大捕食量为50头;南方小花蝽成虫对苜蓿斑蚜成蚜的取食时间最长,为38.67 min,其瞬时攻击率与处理单头猎物时间的比值即捕食能力为13.93,捕食能力最弱,理论日最大捕食量为18.18头。南方小花蝽成虫的日捕食量与猎物密度呈正相关,与搜寻效应呈负相关;对猎物的捕食作用率随自身密度的增加而降低,分摊竞争强度随自身密度的增加而增强。综上所述,南方小花蝽对苜蓿斑蚜,尤其是1龄若蚜具有较好的生物防治潜能。

Abstract: The predatory role and biological control potential of the Orius strigicollis on Therioaphis trifolii (Monell) were investigated by recording the predatory duration and capacity of adult O. strigicollis on T. trifolii at different age stages in laboratory, and the Holling II and Hassell-Varley models were fitted to calculate the time of feeding, the response of predation function, the searching effect and the mutual interference of adult O. strigicollis on T. trifolii. The results showed that the adult O. strigicollis had the shortest predatory duration(7.33 min) on the 1st instar nymph of T. trifolii, and that the predatory capacity, i.e., the ratio of the instantaneous attack rate to the time of handling a single prey, was 44.9, with the theoretical daily maximum predatory capacity of 50. O. strigicollis had the longest predatory duration (38.67 min) on the adult T. trifolii and the predatory capacity was 13.93, with the theoretical daily maximum predatory capacity of 18.18. The daily predatory capacity of adult O. strigicollis was positively correlated with the density of the prey and negatively correlated with the searching effect. The predatory rate and the intensity of scrambling competition decreased with the increase of its own density. In conclusion, O. strigicollis has a high potential for biological control of T. trifolii, especially for the 1st instar nymph.
