Abstract: Phyllotreta striolata is a worldwide pest of cruciferous vegetables. In this paper, field application techniques for the control of P. striolata with engineered Bacillus thuringiensis G033A (Bt G033A) and Metarhizium anisopliae CQMa421 on radish were studied. The results showed that both of microbial pesticides had good control effect on P. striolata on cultivated radish with soil treatment. 32000 IU/mg Bt G033A wettable powder had higher control efficacy and longer term of control than the conventional chemical control. The demonstration of whole-process biological solution was carried out to control the main diseases and insect pests of radish. The results demonstrated that the whole-process biological solution not only had a good control effect, but also increased the yield by 14.8% compared with the conventional chemical control. The quality was improved, with the rate of high quality products was also increased by 12%. It is recommended to apply the techniques in large area demonstration and extension.
