Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the biological control of pear borer pests in Harbin, Heilongjiang, and to monitor the occurrence of them. The control targeting different pests varied and occurrence dynamics under different biological control methods were monitored. The results showed that there were three population peaks in Grapholita molesta and Cydia pomonella in the pear orchard in Harbin during the survey period, and there were two peaks in Carposina sasakii. The peaks of G. molesta were in late May, early July, and mid-August; of C. pomonella, in early June, early July, and early August; and of C. sasakii, in late July and late August. The G. molesta and C. pomonella sex pheromone diffuser effectively interfered with the normal mating behavior of the pests and reduced their occurrence throughout the year. Trichogramma dendrolimi showed good control on G. molesta and C. sasakii, reducing fruit damage rate, but low control on C. pomonella. Therefore, different biological control methods can be used to control pear tree borer pests according to their occurrence pattern.
