Abstract: A. fallacis, an important biological control agent of apple spider mites, can be reared on plant pollens, including apple pollen. But the viability, ibf the descendants of A. fallacis reared on apple-pollen alone often declines. This paper describes a method of rearing A. fallacis with apple pollen plus 30% honey solution or 30% royal jelly, and a method of feeding the predator alternatively with apple pollen and the predator\'s natural prey, Tetranychus cinnabarins. The results showed that these new methods could; increase the female ratio in the progenies and eliminate its cannibalism. Rearing the predator with apple pollen while providing T. cinnabarinus at an Interval of 6-7 days proved to be a better method than the ones involving honey solution or royal jelly. The reproduction rate after 5 weeks was similar to that rearing the predator oh T. cinnabarinusalone.
