Abstract: The life history of A. pseudolongispinosus was studied, at five different constant temperatures to construct its life tables. The intrinsic rates of natural increase were 0.0936, 0.1425, 0.1970, 0.2748, and 0.2638; net reproductive rates: 21.20,26.76, 29.85, 33.11, and 28.21; and mean generation times: 32.63, 25.30, 17.24, 12.76 and 12.67 days at 18, 22, 26, 30 and 34℃, respectively. The durations of preoviposition, oviposition, postoviposition and adult longevity declined with increasing temperature, while the mean total and daily fecundity increased. Multiple mating was found to be necessary for the female adult to achieve the maximum fecundity. The female adult maintained the maximum predation during the 2nd-loth day after the first mating. The egg hatching of the predator at different relative humidities and temperatures were also studied. A 100% egg hatching was obtained at 100% RH. The crucial developmental period of the eggs to low relative humidity was on the verge of shell-breaking stage.
