猎物饲料中添加酵母对巴氏新小绥螨个体大小及功能反应的影响

Impact of Additive Yeast in Prey Diet on Body Size and Functional Responses of Neoseiulus barkeri (Acari: Phytoseiidae)

摘要: 巴氏新小绥螨是一种商业化生产的捕食螨品种,可用腐食酪螨作为替代猎物生产。为研究替代猎物饲料的营养经由猎物传递后对巴氏新小绥螨的影响,本文以麦麸和麦麸加酵母(麦麸:酵母=10:3)2种基础饲料饲养腐食酪螨,并在温度(25±1)℃,相对湿度80%,光周期16L:8D的条件下,比较了以两者(腐食酪螨A:以麦麸饲养的腐食酪螨;腐食酪螨B:以麦麸加酵母饲养的腐食酪螨)饲喂的巴氏新小绥螨雌成螨个体大小及其对朱砂叶螨幼螨与西花蓟马初孵若虫的功能反应。结果表明,利用腐食酪螨A与B饲养的巴氏新小绥螨个体大小无显著差异,背板长度约为368 μm,宽度约为200 μm。其对朱砂叶螨幼螨及西花蓟马初孵若虫的功能反应均属于Holling Ⅱ型模型,但饲喂腐食酪螨B的巴氏新小绥螨对朱砂叶螨幼螨及西花蓟马初孵若虫的捕食能力(a'/Th值)分别由262.537、9.731显著提高到279.726、12.483,理论最大捕食量分别提高2.48%、7.22%。

Abstract: As a commercially produced natural enemy species, Neoseiulus barkeri is often mass reared using the Tyrophagus putrescentiae. To investigate the impact of prey diet nutrients on N. barkeri, T. putrescentiae was reared on wheat bran diet (named as TPA) and wheat bran plus yeast diet (as TPB). Female body sizes and functional responses for Tetranychus cinnabarinus larva and Frankliniella occidentalis nymph of N. barkeri reared on TPA and TPB were compared at (25±1) ℃, 80% RH, and a 16L﹕8D photoperiod. Results showed that added yeast in prey diet had little influence on the body size of N. barkeri. The dorsal shield length and width of N. barkeri were about 368 μm, 200 μm, respectively. Functional responses of N. barkeri on F. occidentalis and T. cinnabarinus fit Holling typeⅡ equation. With yeast added, suppression (a'/Th) of T. cinnabarinus larva and F. occidentalis nymph by N. barkeri increased significantly from 262.537, 9.731 to 279.726, 12.483 and the theoretic daily maximum consumption rate increased by 2.48%, 7.22%, respectively.
