Abstract: The new biological acaricide NBIF-001 was tested for field efficacy against the red spider of kumquat according to pesticide field efficacy test criteria. The results showed that 20 billion wettable powder of NBIF-001 can effectively control the red spider. When formulation A was applied one time at 250×dilution, the control effect was 98.98%, 94.88%, 89.52%, 85.36%, 68.72%, and 74.61%, respectively, at 1, 3, 5, 7, 14 and 21 days after application. For formulation B, the data were 99.60%, 95.43%, 90.88%, 88.26%, 72.39%, and 77.25%, respectively. For the chemical acaricide 20% abamectin spirodiclofen SC at 3000×dilution, the control effect was 68.42%, 74.09%, 65.82%, 61.58%, 62.64%, and 69.38%, respectively. These results show that control effect by the new biological acaricide NBIF-001 is high, fast and durable, and NBIF-001 is an ideal pesticide for control of the kumquat red spider.
