Abstract: Authors used single factor experiments and orthogonal experiments to optimize the liquid fermentation conditions of Streptomyces atratus PY-1 to increase its antagonistic substance productivity against Plasmopara viticola. The result showed that the optimum medium was corn meal 50 g, glucose 5 g, peptone 5 g, NH4Cl 5 g, NaCl 0.5 g, in 1 liter of distilled water. The optimal incubation conditions were 28 ℃, fermentation time 120 h, initial pH 7.0, medium capacity 90 mL/250 mL, inoculation rate 5%, and rotate speed 180 r/min. The inhibitory activity of strain PY-1 fermentation solution was increased by 8.35% under the optimum fermentation medium and incubation conditions.
