Abstract: Tetrastichus Brontispae Ferrière, an effective parasitoid of Brontispa longissima (Gestro), is less studied in molecular biology due to the lack of relevant genetic information. In this study, transcriptome sequencing was performed on T. brontispae. After splicing with De Novo, 29535 Unigenes were obtained, of which 13796 Unigenes were annotated with further comparison of Unigene with four public databases of NR, GO, eggNOG and KEGG.. From the NR database, 13401 Unigenes were annotated in T. brontispae, showing the most gene sequences similar with Nasonia Vitripennis. According to GO database, 3834 Unigenes were classified into 67 functional groups in three categories; based on EggNOG database, 12707 Unigenes were categorized into 25 functional groups; and according to KEGG database, 5999 Unigenes were classified into five categories. The transcriptome sequencing and gene functional annotation of this study can provide data support for future research on genetic diversity and gene function mining.
