Abstract: Orius sauteri is an important natural enemy. Efficiency of rearing O. sauteri on Mythimna separate eggs was evaluated for the potential of commercial supply of O. sauteri. The results showed that O. sauteri fed on M. separate eggs could complete development and reproduction. The harvest rate of O. sauteri was 77.5% and the average fecundity per female was 72.5. Under the condition of sufficient food, 80.4 M. separate eggs were consumed in O. sauteri's lifetime. The results can help the mass rearing of O. sauteri and the green management of pests.
