Abstract: Prevention and bio-control effects of Bacillus subtilis strain TR21 on banana fusarium wilt of resistant dwarf banana variety Fenza No.1 (Musa spp. ABB), and the accumulation of resistance-related signal substances in roots of the banana seedlings treated by TR21 were studied in this paper. Results showed, in field experiments, TR21 wettable powder application could reduce the fusarium wilt incidence of Fenza No.1 with control effect of 72%, and suppository added treatment could significantly shorten the growth period and increase yield per plant; In indoor experiment, challenge inoculation (FOC004 inoculation on roots after TR21 vaccinated on axil 24 h later) could inspire NO significantly increased in early vaccination (4 h), and maintain 72 h; TR21 axil inoculation, FOC004 roots inoculation, and challenging inoculation could reduced producing H2O2 in roots in early 4 h; FOC004 roots inoculation, and challenging inoculation could inspire root SA contents significantly increased in early 4 h. TR21 axil inoculation reduced the incidence of banana fusarium wilt by improving the resistance ability of Fenza No.1 in field.
