Abstract: Huanglongbing disease (HLB) is a devastating disease of citrus transmitted by Diaphorina citri (Kuwayama). Tamarixia radiata (Waterston) is a predominant parasitoid of D. citri showing great potential in controlling D. citri. This paper reports the mass production of T. radiata based on Citrus reticulata Blanco cv. Nianju. The pruning method for the production of new sprouts of C. reticulata Blanco cv. Nianju was standardized. The whole pruning method was the best, producing new sprouts in 12.6 d at 39.6 sprouts per plant. The ratio of D. citri inoculated to new sprouts was optimized, which was 2:1. The ratio of T. radiata inoculated to D. citri was also optimized, which was 1:10. Based on these optimal conditions, 646.67 T. radiata were harvested from a cage (5 C. reticulata plants).
