Abstract: Twenty-two strains of endophytic fungi were screened from Rhododendron thymifolium, R. capitatum, R. anthopogonoide, and R. przewalskii using culture isolation method and their insecticidal activities were investigated. The results indicated that crude extracts of LS-Y-2 mycelium showed a better pesticide activity against Tribolium castaneum (LD50=69.31 μg/adult), crude extracts of LS-Y-2 fungal liquid showed a good bioactivity against T. castaneum (FDI=84.28%) and Ditylenchus destructor (LC50=0.06 mg/mL), crude extracts of TH-Z-1 fungal liquid showed an obvious pesticide activity against D. destructor (LC50=0.07 mg/mL), crude extracts of LS-Y-4 fungal liquid showed a better antifeedant activity against T. castaneum (FDI=73.12%), crude extracts of LS-Y-4 mycelium showed a better pesticide activity against D. destructor (LC50=0.18 mg/mL). LS-Y-2 and LS-Y-4 belong to Alternaria, TH-Z-1 belong to Trametes.
