Abstract: Predatory coccinellid species (i.e., ladybeetles) are a group of important natural enemies in agro-ecosystem. In this review, we introduced international research on intraguild predation (IGP) among different species of ladybeetles as well as between ladybeetles and other natural enemies, explored the factors that influence IGP, and also analyzed the potential impacts of IGP on bio-control efficiency. The review will offer help for further assessment of IGP of coccinellid species, studies of relationship between landscape diversity and IGP, and promotion of synergetic utilization of coccinellid and other enemies in China.
