Abstract: In order to develop a microbial agent that can be used to control Corn Stalk Rot caused by Fusarium verticillioides, Bacillus subtilis 262XY2' with the excellent antagonistic ability was used as material, the type and quantity of carries and additives were optimized, and the control effect of 262XY2′ granules on Corn Stalk Rot was verified through pot experiments. The results showed that the optimal component of 262XY2′ granules was 95.5% of original powder (with a ratio of fermentation broth : silica is 3:1), 1% of calcium carbonate, 1.5% of sodium carboxymethylcellulose, and 2% of sodium sulfate, the viable bacteria count of B. subtilis 262XY2′ will reach to 2.56×1010 cfu/g, finally. In addition, the pollution rate of other microorganisms, fineness, moisture content, pH value of 262XY2′ granules were 1.27%, 100%, 14.57% and 6.90, respectively, which comply with the national standards for biopesticide products. The pot experiments of 0.4% 262XY2′ granules indicated that the control efficiency of 262XY2′ on maize stalk rot caused by F. verticillioides was 60.18% during the seedling stage.
