Abstract: Overwintering environment of Synonycha grandis (Thunberg) was simulated under the indoor temperature of 15-20℃. Conservation effects of 4 kinds of supplement feeds on the adult were tested. The result indicated that the best way to overwinter was to feed the adult sugar-in-water mixed with freezing Ceratovacuna lanigera (Zehntner), the survivor rate could reach 67.5% after 210 d of conservation, propagating capacity of the survivors could be fast recovered after feeding of living C. lanigera. S. grandis was released with density of 100 ones/667 m2 to sugarcane field during May to June when harmful C. lanigera broke out, which could effectively reduce the harm. Percentages of plants with aphid and leaves with aphid reduced from 50.3% and 45% to 0 respectively after 30 days' release. The control effect on C. lanigera reach 100% compared with constrast.
