Abstract: In present, wettable powder and aqueous solutions is the main types of microbial fungicide formulations in pesticide registration of China. Humidity was increased by the conventional spray method in greenhouse, in order to overcome the adverse effects for the disease prevention and control, Bacillus subtitles BAB-1 was used as active ingredient to develop the dust powder concentrate (DPC). After carefully screening the suitable factors including carrier and additives, the optimal carrier, additive and their proportions were determined and employed for 1010 BAB-1 DPC formulation including talcum powder 20%, dispersing agent GY-D900 2%, up to 100% by BAB-1 technical material. This preparation of BAB-1 DPC had a excellent suspension rate more than 50% at 30 min. Pot experiment showed that the control efficacy of BAB-1 DPC was reached 57.14% to 71.43%, and the protective effect was superior to therapeutic action against tomato gray mold with control efficacy reached 48.80% and 1.65% after applying once, respectively. In greenhouse experiment, the control efficacy of BAB-1 DPC and chemical fungicide azoxystrobin 800-fold aqueous solution after applying 3 times were 79.04% and 82.55%, respectively. The research results provided a scientific basis for further industrial development and application of Bacillus subtitles BAB-1 DPC.
